The flu!

Yes...you read it right, Derek has influenza! A pretty bad case of it actually. He has been struggling with the symptoms since Sunday morning and today when I took his temperature it was 103.6! So he went to the Doctor. I have never seen him so sick before, I feel so helpless. Now I am scared for our little one to come into the world. Derek won't be able to smooch and hug on him like he would be if he was healthy. It is just too risky when you are dealing with a newborn. The Doctor said he could feel crappy for up to 14 more days, but with the medicine that was prescribed for him, he should start to feel better within 5 to 9 days. But that is still much too long to feel like that! And much too long for this baby to stay inside of me!
